Who Doesn't Love Jewelry?

I got a blog award! Krizmah at Little Homemade Housewife (the amazing girl who made my blog b-e-a-utiful) nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award! Thanks, girl!

As a recipient of this award, I am now supposed to nominate 15 others and tell you 7 random facts about myself! 

1. I'm obsessed with organization and tend to buy 2-3 planners throughout the year because I get bored and want a blank canvas.

2. I was underweight in high school, gained the freshman 30 (making me overweight), and have finally gotten to a healthy weight in the last 2 years.

3. I tend to want to cut my hair or get bangs at least once a month but am loving having longer hair for the first time since high school. 

4. I get claustrophobic while lying down (with something covering me, on top of me, etc), but I'm normally fine when standing. 

5. I had braces for 5 years and finally got them off a week before my senior pictures. Woot woot.

6. I skipped 1st grade. 

7. I've been to Disney World over 100 times.

Also, I participated in my absolute favorite blog swap so far. I know what you're thinking. I'm possibly definitely obsessed with blog swaps, so how has this one trumped the others? This swap allowed me to meet Jade who has quickly become a friend who I talk to daily. We've even started a weekly link-up together! Totes adorbs, fo sho. I don't know where that came from.

This swap required us to buy each other a bauble AKA a piece of jewelry. Jade bought me the most adorable necklace! I love the colorful rose trend, and coral & teal are my favorite colors right now...until football season starts and my entire wardrobe consists of maroon and orange...#sorryimnotsorry.

Sweet Summer Secret Swap Reveal

We know how much I am obsessed with love blog swaps. This time around, I did a swap hosted by Jacinta at My Beauty Boxes and received a great box from It's Not Over After 30!

and nail polish strips (which just happen to be perfect for the zebra/hot pink themed bachelorette party I'm going to in August)!

June Foodie Pen Pals

So sorry for my lack of an InstaFriday post yesterday, but I think Erin was right. Instead of posting Instagram photos on my blog, you should just follow me on Instagram (@kbhokie). So, go ahead and do that. I'll wait.

My first foodie pen pals! My friend, Courtney, has been posting about this great blog swap for MONTHS and I just joined the bandwagon! Better late than never though, right?

Organic Dark Chocolate Mint Bar

Coconut Flour

She even added recipes to use the coconut flour. It's higher in protein and fiber than white flour, so I hope to use this stuff often.
I even made coconut flour cookies! Recipe to follow.

Sweet Onion Mustard

Um, this stuff is so freakin good. I've been dipping pretzels in it and spreading it on sandwiches. YUM.

Secret Blogger Swap Reveal!

Remember when I said that I was so excited to be participating in the Secret Blogger Swap at Framed Frosting? 

Well, that excitement got even greater when I sent my package of goodies off to Christie at Path To The Half and then when I received my package from Jacinta at My Beauty Boxes! 

As you can see, Jacinta rocks and sent me the most amazing things. From pot holders (because we all know I love to bake), to a new Tervis, beauty products, chai tea, a headband, and a zipper purse pouch! I'm in love with everything!

Blogging Fun!

As I mentioned before, I participated in the awesome Coffee Mug Swap over at Suzels Says! I was paired up with Jami over at Somewhat Domesticated and received my package last week!

P.S. Jami is awesome, so you should definitely check out her blog. :)

Not only did Jami send me a beautiful peacock coffee mug, she also sent some tea which I have yet to try (but will soon!) and cookie butter which I have been putting on everything.

I enjoyed this blogger swap so much that I've decided to participate in another one!
