Update

Life has been crazy and unexpected lately. I started my career (take that, 20 in 2012!).

I'm working 50-60 hours a week while getting accustomed to "big girl life" and loving every second.

My love life even seems to be taking a turn for the better...

I haven't yet figured out how to make everything work together (blogging, life, career), so I'm open to help from you, my awesome blog family. I can't imagine how some of you do it with a family to take care of after working 12 hours to pure exhaustion.

Thanks for hangin' with me and seeing what happens while I adjust to this new chapter!

  1. Congratulations, doll! How exciting...minus the lack of sleep. :) In terms of blogging - just blog when you can! You should never feel pressured or inadequate if you miss a few days here & there. :)

  3. Congrats on the big girl job! I'm waiting [again] to start mine up again...well, in hopes that I can even get one. :( 50-60 hours is a lot though, so I hope you're getting the rest and relaxation you deserve too though! :)

  4. There was one time in my life where I worked 8 hours, went straight to school for 8 hours and was lucky to get 3 hours sleep. I made my life better but my family suffered for it. We're ok though. You've just got to get through it. New follower from An Organized Mess. Julie @ http://icreatepurtythangs.blogspot.com.

  5. Congrats! You'll figure out the right balance for you :). Some weeks I'm so busy that I dedicate one night to getting everything blog related done. Other weeks things calm down and I have time to catch up on my google reader, get ahead on blog posts, and email sponsors. It all evens out somehow.

  9. Good luck with your new job. Just stumbled upon your blog. Balancing everything is really hard. Just try to remember what is most important to you...and choose that first! Looking forward to getting to know you. Hope you connect with me as well.

  10. Congrats! Life is all about balance! I plan all my posts with a planner and then I try to sit down on a Sunday afternoon and schedule as many posts as I can, that way, through the week I'm free to do the other things that I have to get done, my scheduled posts pop up on their own, and all I have to do is reply to comments.

  12. Really fun blog! I grabbed your button for my blog :) I lived in Tx my whole life, but now have found myself in Tennessee. It's good here, but I do miss Texas! I am a personal trainer/pilates instructor turned blogger! I am finding that I can encourage more people through a blog than in my gym. My other new venture is Health and Fitness Vacations! I did my first one in November. Being land locked has encouraged me to take my work to the beach! We do the fitness vacations at a beautiful beach front house in St. Augustine, FL. Check out how our experience went on my blog:

I hope you come by for some health & fitness encouragement! Feel free to grab my button while you are there :)
