I love this PSA. If you haven't seen it, please watch and pass it on. I worked in dermatology and saw a lot of patients with melanoma. The youngest was 20 years old. 


It's recommended that everyone check themselves monthly for changes in their moles and also see a dermatologist yearly. 

 Here are step-by step instructions on self skin checks:

Don't know what to look for? Here are the ABCDE's of Melanoma. If you don't remember all of them, the most important is E. If any mole on your body is changing or "evolving", get it checked out by a dermatologist.

You don't have to be a chronic tanning booth user to get melanoma. Inform yourself and check your moles!
